I finally got word that they are sending the DS 3032 and have the AOS invoice 8 digit number. I plan to mail the completed form today and I tried to login to the system to pay the bill but it will not accept my login. When should I be able to pay? Is this going to take yet another "20" business days?

Good Luck to you!

whoa buddy.

take a deep breath.

and STOP.

SHIFT OVER to learning how to OPT IN for NVC Electronic Processing -

it's specific to China , and shaves days off the process.

Read this:

http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/NVC_Electronic_Processing

and this:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/327561-my-ep-experience/

using EP shaves 3 to 5 months off of waiting times..

specifically:

1 to 3 months waiting for GUZ IV to open the casefile after NVC is finished with it

1 month of waiting to be scheduled for an interview

1 month of waiting for the interview date.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

What the hell is with this place? 12+ days to generate an invoice that is identical to all other invoices. 11 days to generate forms once the case number is generated after 10 days of the case sitting in a pile after it was received. Only the 10 day wait makes some sense as everything else should be automated. FFs they haven't even gotten to the point where they have to process hand written documents yet. This is a prime example of waste in the federal government. If the process was streamlined it would be cheaper.

Hey Rob - queues abound.

There be many at NVC, alas.

The big thing you want, really, is for the AOS FEE BILL to be generated and SHOW UP in yer email inbox.

Once you got the AOS FEE BILL in yer email inbox? The switch is ON at NVC for you to get busy.

If you'd like to harry that one bit along, for now,

call in to NVC, ask specifically for the AOS FEE BILL to be sent out to yer email address.

Call once a day until you actually receive it, then

OPT IN to NVC Electronic Processing

Sorry, here's the overall triage on post #1 -

Alas, you ain't ready yet; rather, NVC ain't ready it.

NVC is ready for you to OPT IN AFTER the AOS FEE BILL shows up in yer email inbox.

NO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO THAT, prior to the AOS FEE BILL showing up. if you do? That OPT IN EMAIL will be lost in the ether, rarely recovered and used. Since you did already, now you gotta bug NVC about the AOS FEE BILL, bug them to send it out to you.

Good Luck !

I received both emails yesterday, paid the AOS bill and send the DS3032 in the OPT IN email. So it took 2 weeks + 1 day to get from case number to invoice.

Holy #######. Finally some luck. They also just accepted the optin this morning. And my AoS bill is posted as paid. :)

Yay.. Some movement.

The IV Fee Bill will take some time, as a human has to review the OPT IN EMAIL, detaching the DS-3032 from the email, and adding it into the casefile.

ONCE IT'S BEEN ADDED, the IV Fee Bill will show up.
