My case is just over a year old. Today, I went to U.S Consulate with the documents requested. I entered the building at 9.00 am; the Indian officer took all my documents and asked me to seat and wait for the interview. After waiting for few hours, my name was called. The female Consular officer ask few questions and took my signature and told me to raise my hand and sworn. And then she ask me for the original Police Clearance Certificate and I said it’s attached to the passport. She verified PCC and other documents in the system and told me that visa has been issued and you’ll receive it in 1 week.

Brief summary

Dear All,

Arrived in U.S, No questioned asked by the Immigration officer at the port of entry (Baltimore/Washington).

Every thing went smoothly. At New Delhi Immigration few questions asked about why my U.S visa cancelled/revoked and cleared after 15-20 minutes.

BTW, SSN is not process at the POE; we should apply at the local Social Security Administration for SSN.

I wish all the best for the others waiting for I-601 approval and visa and arriving in U.S.

Thank you and God bless you.
