Hi all just want to know when I 130 is approved what should I do next. I heard a waiver for deporties must be filed in a lock box in the US. Is that true? What things do I need for the waiver to file and what type of waiver do I file if my husband overstayed 19yrs after he was sent a letter of deportation? (That he didn't recieve in the mail) His lawyer messed up a long time ago and now they say it's his fault. Your help is appreciated.

Umm... I think I've said this before, but you need a lawyer. And a good one. Consultations aren't that expensive. Immigration law is federal so you can hire any attorney in any state. Try contacting Irwin Berowitz in New York City. He does a lot of these waiver filings and has had some success. His phone number is 646-476-0222. His consult fees are reasonable and he's very honest (which is clearly what you need). I truly can't see your current petition as being approved even at the USCIS level right now. They will see your husband's history, there is no way around that.
