International Travel question

I had a question about international travel. I just wanted to make sure that my wife is okay to go back home and visit her family in Thailand. She got here last year on a K1 visa. We got married within the 90 day period, applied for Adjustment of Status, and she got her Green Card two months ago. From what I understand as long as she has her green card she can leave and enter the U.S. with no problem. Am I correct on this?

Also the name on her passport is her maiden name and the name on her green card is my last name. Will this cause her any problems?

All she needs is a green card to travel.

Which name is on her Thai I D? I suggest she changes that to her married name while in Thailand then obtain a new passport in her married name.

Either way she wont have any serious problems during her travels.

I've been traveling this way for years. Married name on GC, former name on passport. I have never encountered a problem when re-entering. She can bring her marriage certificate for some reassurance if she likes. Though the GC has that information embedded anyway. Just make sure the ticket matches the passport name.
