It sounds like everyone is saying this but this topic is too much low-hanging fruit for me to hold back.

Don't try to get sticker at airport when you are trying to catch a flight, have paid $1000+ for a ticket, and are ready to leave. Get it done before - swing by the CFO office for the sticker. Funny topic because it's so absurd to go through all this Visa stuff go to airport then not be able to leave because you don't have a stupid little sticker required by PI. Only in phils.

I was told that if you tell the guards at Terminal 1 that you need to go to the CFO office and show them the CFO certification that they will allow you to enter the terminal. But I did not want to take a chance on that with only 1 day before leaving the country, so got the sicker a couple of weeks before time to leave.

I totally agree to most of the comments. When my fiancee gets her visa, just go back to Cebu CFO for the stickers. No reason to take any chances. Thanks for all the replies.

I am currently living walking distance from Terminal 3. I have just been to Terminal 3 with my wife, who now has her Visa. We have not yet booked her flight. We went to the CFO desk and the woman could not assist re the sticker, but directed my wife to airport information. Helpful guy explained it was necessary to go to Terminal 2. He then phoned the CFO guy at Terminal 2 and passed the phone to my wife for a lengthy conversation.

This is what my wife must do. We will book her flight. Then up to 4 days before the flight she will phone the CFO guy at Terminal 2 on 552 4769 and inform him of the flight and the passport and visa numbers(I think I got that right). Then she will go to Terminal 2, before the day of her flight to get the sticker. This is what she will do, obviously it isn't suitable for everyone to go a few days before the flight, but it suits her.

Jamtoday -This is an old thread you posted on.

We went in November 2014 and went to Terminal 3 CFO and told the person behind the counter we needed CFO sticker because we were going to try to go standby (our tickets were for like 3 days later and we had no plans to standby and had no desire to try to go to CFO location for just a sticker).

My fiancé was issued a sticker on Saturday, Just tell the CFO person you are going to try to catch a standby flight and get the sticker.

I just went through terminal 3 the other day as there is a desk for the CFO. If you turn left when entering the terminal from the street, it is to the left side all the way down by the end.

There was someone there last Saturday noonish.
