Power of Attorney Question

Another quick question:

My brother is my joint-sponsor for the I-864. Hubs & I are nearly done with the AOS packet. My brother is currently overseas for his job and is not expected to be back until December. I obviously want to send this packet out before then. Since my brother travels quite a bit for work, my mom has his power of attorney. I am assuming that she will be able to fill out these forms & send them back to me along with the I-864? Obviously I would include a notarized copy of the power of attorney forms. Should I also include the correspondence my brother and I have had regarding this? Is this even possible?

I'd really hate to put this entire thing off another 2+ months, especially considering we got married in May & hubs is getting a little stir-crazy because he can't work or anything like that.

Thanks!

If i was you I would double check the writing on the POA... Sometimes the person in charge is limited on what they are authorized to sign. And in the POA it should state what authorization your mother has to sign on his behalf.

Good Luck!
