I think most of you over-estimate how much people care if your wife is from a RUB country.

Not hardly. You would be surprised how many people, especially women look down on an American guy marrying a much younger RUB chick. There's nothing like shopping with my wife and listening to the clickity click of her heels while she's dressed in one of her mini skirts and have a bunch of soccer moms gawking at us in just about each and every aisle trying to figure out if she's shopping with an older co-worker, her father, or her bad daddy. As soon as those stares become totally obvious is about the same time I grab her tight little ####### and give them a ####### eating grin. We have had sales people like the gal at the jewelry store be totally rude to us for no other reason than she was a foreign bride married to a much older American. Her accent along with the pouty look doesn't help matters out either when she talks to said sales people. It just seems to add fuel to the fire.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

The accent/pouty look works perfectly with male sales personnel. I am known as "Alla's husband" at the local Lowe's store. When I go to the desk for her "pickup later" things the person invariably calls someone and says "Alla's husband is here for her things" She usually ends up with 3 men following her around to help her find things. (while the fat cows muddle around looking for their plastic shower curtain liners) I just smile and shake my head.

It is useless for women unless they are lesbians.

I think most of you over-estimate how much people care if your wife is from a RUB country.

So why do you and the other UK/Canada/American women bother to stop by here and tell us that, comment on what cars our wives drive (and get it wrong) and generally lurk around waiting to hurl insults at people married to RUB women? If you don't CARE, then ####### are you doing here posting a comment? Oh wait, I know, it is a "public forum" OK....

How may comments do you make in the MENA forum? Far East? Philippine forum...oh THAT ought to a be a ripe one for you...but no, you constantly and consistently insult RUB women and the men married to them.

The best thing about American women is they are very quick to demonstrate WHY we chose RUB women. Thank you.

Our wives cook and clean and prance around mostly naked and satisfy our sexual needs in new, bizarre and kinky ways. They have no time to post on VJ, maybe you noticed that?

VJ has been more than a great resource for helping with K-1. I enjoy reading others stories with RUB spouse. My fiancee will be here in 3 weeks and I can not wait till we start are lives together. She is an beautiful, intelligent, amazing woman and I am a very lucky man. I am afraid I will wake up and it will all be a dream.

Why can't you do it yourself?

Keep in mind that that site will show all the traffic coming from *this* site because of that link you posted. Calling this board to go 'sort out' the other board sometimes can result in a board war, or unnecessary attention to this board, our members, their stories, pictures, etc.

In short, it's probs not the wisest choice and should be against TOS, if it's not already..

eta: and it's not going to change anyone's mind about anything.

I was not wanting to incite a flame war, and apologise if that's what you thought I meant, it's just that I am not Ukrainian, and felt it would be good for someone to speak to the girl and let her know that you don't purchase a person and no one is under obligation to be your bride just because you sign up on one of those sites. It's also not an American doing so but an Australian so you guys here likely won't go much towards giving her perspective, but I am posting in there. Sad to say many are also of the belief that if you adopt a child you own them too.

Some of the Aussie gals on here have been just as hateful as the American, British, and Canadian gals on here in regards to this forum, and back in the day the Phillipine forum. They call themselves CABA Girls and there's one poster on here that used to have that in her sig. CABA stands for Canadian, Australian, British, and American. There's a group of them on here and only god can guess what they look like. I have a few idea's but when I think about it I get the shivers. They come in here and post just to start #######. It's not nearly as bad as it used to be, but they still drop in here time to time.

I'm a Canadian girl, and I'm sorry to hear that, in fact, I told the girl on the other thread that her dad was probably looking at Ukrainian women because of their beauty, not looking for a doormat, as I've never in my life met a woman of that descent or even nearby country's descent that was a doormat. Bitches yes!! But never doormats, and in the case of the bitches, it's never undeserved!! I have no idea what any of us would have against any of you, other than some of them being jealous. (but us Canadian girls have nothing to be jealous of you for, it's just as freaking cold there as in Canada a great deal of the year!)

I'm a bit surprised you haven't run into any Western Ukrainians in Canada. They have a good size population of Western Ukrainians there and they were the main backers behind the Orange Revolution in Ukraine a few years back (2004). As far as RUB gals being doormats...I could only wish. If I knew then what I know now about their "tudes" I might have been better prepared. Ya I can't picture any of them being pushovers, docile etc.. although I'm sure there are some out there, just not in any large percentage worth mentioning.

I think some men married RUB gals for something different, some like Gary met their wives while working over there, etc... I mean with the internet and people travelling as much as they do these days the hunting grounds have grown world wide with no real borders so to speak. I know some RUB gals married to get the heck out of their and make a go for a better life and it happens here with the locals also. They used to say the guy with the nicest/fastest car gets the gal. Iv'e been married to an American gal and shacked with a few others, and other than my ex wife I wouldn't get any pleasure from their demise. Everyone has a different flavor. Vanilla, cherry, chocolate, etc... :)

Look, all I'm saying is that I think it's a bigger deal to you guys that you married a RUB woman, than it is to the rest of the world. Really. I don't think most people care.

Everybody here is married to someone from another country. We've all got normal married lives. We all know that our marriages are just a little bit different than "domestic" marriages - but not a whole lot. I mean, if your marriage is healthy and good and "normal" - well isn't that a good thing?

Ok, take us, for example. My husband and I work for the same company. We're together in the same building all day long and everybody knows we are married to each other. Some of the people we work with think it's "cute" that we are an international couple, but beyond that, we are just another married couple. We get a whole lot more comments about how well suited we are for each other than the fact my husband has a smokin' hot accent (to phrase it in your terms).

That's all I'm saying. If you want to make more of it than that - well I don't know what to say!

Our journey together on this earth has come to an end.

I will see you one day again, my love.

RJ that has to be the nicest post in this forum that Iv'e ever seen from you. :) Is this really RJ or did someone jack your account?

TBH though it is an issue with the RUB gal and American man in regards to stereotyping. Not with all people but enough to notice, and it's came from people I would never expect it to come from and it's a bummer because I don't think some of them even realize how their acting. We have even experienced it with some of my family. The wife has brought it up before seeing how she's not totally oblivious to what's going on around her but it's not so bad that we can't look it off and laugh about it. The normal stereotyping of RUB gals married to American men are that they are all natural born she devils and the only reason they married an American man is to get a green card. Again it's not that big of an issue though that it can't be looked off with a laugh about it now and then.

And of course all American men married to RUB gals are looking for a hot looking house keeper that never says "no". :hehe:
