Anyone else, or anyone have an idea to fix mine?

I checked and did not see any server spikes. Could be the path to the server for your ISP is clogged.

  • 3 weeks later...

Are you (or anyone else) still having this problem? Because while VJ works fine at home on my Mac (well, fine other than that my browser will more than likely crash every time I hit the back button, but I suspect that's my browser's fault, not this site's!), when I'm at work and trying to have a sneaky read of some threads, they will load a little way and then.... nothing. It'll just hang, for ages. A couple of times the page has loaded fully after several minutes, but the majority of the time I can't do anything from there - if I refresh the page, or try to click another link, or hit the back button, or even just type in another address, everything will just freeze up until I restart the browser. And yep, it's Internet Explorer. I don't know if it's a rubbish-work-computer thing or something that might be affecting other people too!

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Nope, things are fine here these days.

At work, try clearing out the cache (tools-->options-->temporary internet files) and make sure your browser has been updated.

Ah, must just be Rubbish Work Computers, as I originally suspected - thanks, Meauxna! I've just deleted the temp files (we're banned from doing software updates ourselves these days, so will just have to hope the browser's a reasonably updated version), will see if that helps... hope so, 'cos there's some threads that are refusing to load, and I want to read the updates!

Thanks again. :)

Hmm, it was still happening today - about half the threads were loading fine, and the other half just wouldn't, no matter how many times I tried. I've changed my settings to not view signatures/images, and suddenly it all seems to be fine. So.... just in case anyone else has the same problem happening (probably not, probably just me!), try that and see if it works.

Shame I can't see the timelines in people's signatures now, though - but at least I can catch up on some threads I've been trying to read all day! :)
