Medical exam...

I just read some article regarding the k1 visa..they said that they need the physical file for the case in order to have the medical exam, what if i dont have the physical file for my case, but I already know my case number... can i still have my medical exam? What should I bring then for my medical exam?

Don't worry about the physical file, my wife NEVER called the embassy to check on that. Once she had the MNL # she paid her visa fee, then we scheduled the interview and after that the medical at St. Luke's. By the interview time the file will be at the embassy, they already have an electronic copy if you have your MNL #.

For K-1 the fee is $240

When scheduling online with the embassy you need to include the "XX" at the beginning.

Priorty Date; this is the date the NOA 1 was accepted.

Make sure to print two copies of the interview confirmation page as you will need one for St. Luke's and the other (maybe, they might mail the interview letter) for the embassy.

Required documents & "OTHER DOCUMENTS" they ask for at CFO: copies of; CENOMAR, certified birth certificate, bio page of passport, visa page from passport, pictures together, from USC - bio page of passport, birth certificate, divorce decree (if been married before) are the most common. The "other documents" clause can be ANYTHING with those nit-wits at CFO.

He never got any letter from embassy.
