Trying to schedule the appointment for my fiance for her interview, but when I called the Embassy to set it up they said it was unable to be set up due to the system saying no dates are available. Yet I know dates are available because we were going to set it up a week ago but didnt have the MRV fees paid yet. So since they couldnt set anything up they directed me to ustraveldocs.com/ph (she's a filipina) to set the appointment up online when the system comes back. After some work I find that...no dates are available. I guess they weren't messing around. Anyone else have this experience? Expected wait times until it is fixed?

Yea, I couldn't make an appointment over the phone. They said there was no appointments available. They said try back next week. I decided to register with the system on-line. I checked on-line everyday for a week and there was nothing. Finally, one day there were two openings in October for the 3rd and 4th. Whew! I took the October fourth. Be patient Good Luck!

We just hope the event in Egypt and Libya won't affect any visa issuance or interview worldwide....

Same problem in Kiev as well. If you go to register as a new user on the new system you will see which countries are currently open for online scheduling. The local call center for Kiev which is in Warsaw has told us everyday this week they have no slots available. The cutover for Kiev to the new system is 9/20 - we wait impatiently. What doesn't make sense is that they'll open the flood gates after over a week of holding back.
