Maybe when you just talk to a man sitting in a cafe with a bunch of other guys you don't see all that, but I did see many times how he interacted with his friends because his family would tell them he was at the cafe with me and they would go find him there. He always introduced them to me and let them talk to me for a minute if they wanted to.

I'm not saying I wasn't cautious - I was. I'm just saying that he passed any test I could have thought of to throw at him with flying colors.

Valid point. My husband has had his own computer in his room since April of 05. I get to see everything. When his cousins, nephews, and nieces come over. How they hang on him, and love to play with him. I see when his friends come over, and they play soccer on the ps2. I know this man inside and out, and my times there show me no different side of him.

Now at times he stopped by his brother in laws internet cafe to help format computers when they got viruses. He would get on and chat, but he behaved differently. He just isn't himself when strangers are watching him.

Kind of similar to when he called me last night and I was getting my nails done. He said I acted different. Well that is simple, I am surrounded by strangers, and I don't like when others are listening to my personal life, so yes, I am different.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

One thing I'm curious about - for those of you who did meet online.... Have you discussed with your SO the circumstances behind your online meeting? How did you distinguish the motives of your own SO who may have been in the cyber cafe with lots of others who were specifically looking for American women?

Something I might discuss in a friendlier environment... not here. :star:

No one was talking about your little thread specifically Sarah so you can cool the sensitivity a little yourself ;)

No I think you misunderstood. I am asking why you and JEan think there are wild assumptions going around from Jenn's question?

I was actually thinking the same thing. I think this had been a really good thread with lots of valid give and take discussion. No assumptions at all. If it has nothing to do wiht this thead then why discuss it here?
