I spent $65 to fill up my tank the other day at about $4.20 a gallon.

I spent $75 in NYC last night. Probably the most I ever spent filling up my tank. Ever.

Did you wake up on the wrong side of Alla today?

There is no "wrong side" of Alla.

Go buy a Volt and do something for the environment

I've been spending over $100 to top off with still more that a quarter tank left for many moons now. It ticks me off when I have to reset the pump, and run the card through a second time.

ETA: I hate to see what luckytxn pays to put 100 gallons of diesel into his tractor before he leaves California. You have to come into the state almost empty if you don't want to pay road tax on the the fuel in your tanks.

What does that prove? That you can find a Tesla VIN on the internet. Nothing beyond that, really.

Or the VIN of a Volt. Or any other VIN you care you see.

They just have tiny little, um, gas tanks. Yeah that's it, tiny gas tanks.

Didn't get gas in July 2008? Prices in NYC were $4.40 a gallon then. Now they're reported at $4.20. Maybe your tank was not quite empty when you went to get gas 4 years ago?

Actually GM has yet to make a profit on the Volt. The story as written is true. So if the Volt sells pick up and it they continue to make it, at some point in the future they may make money. However as it stands right now today they have not.

It's typical Liberal fog math. "weexpect to sell a lot in the next several years and if we do we will not lose money". The flip side of that is if things continue the downward slide for GM there is a good chance they could lose big on the volt. Even GM admits it is losing money "for now".

So Libs much like you touting projections, theory and everything but the truth about Obama's economy, you are doing the same for the Volt. Fact- As of today it is a big loser. Will that change maybe, maybe not. If I was a betting man I would not bet on it.

For the record I have nothing against the Volt and not sure how Obama is to blame for the Volt, but it is losing money.

P.S. I love my Prius... Prius for savings and a Mustang for fun. Piss on GM

Well, there is this gas station around here where gas was $4.35 when you paid $3.35 give or take a dime at every other station. It's not smart going to the most expensive station and then complain about how expensive gas is. Gas is to be had for as little as $4.05 in Manhattan according to Gas Buddy.

For top tier fuel? Some of that discount gas ends up clogging the fuel injectors over time.

Well, then everyone seems to be selling discount gas. Shell, BP, Citgo and the rest of the bunch. I've been getting my gas at those stations for as long as I live here. Put close to 200K miles on my last car and never had issues with the fuel injectors. But what do I know?

It was a BP station. I doubt they charge less in Manhattan, maybe in Brooklyn or Queens.

There's a link in my post above. Check it out. Lowest in Manhattan is $4.05, highest listed there is $4.49.

The highest I've seen in the city was $4.75vfor premium, at the Shell station in the Upper East Side.
