questions about name change and SSN

On my marriage certificate, I have my English name as first name, my original Chinese first name as middle name, and my husband's family name as last name.

When we're filing for AOS, I used the exact name shown on the marriage certificate. Does this mean I already have my name changed? Should I file anything to "formally" have my name changed? (The reason I am asking is because someone told me that I will have to inform the interviewer and later on pay for the name change...)

Another question is, I have SSN from my first EAD(OPT), when I get my new EAD from AOS, do I have to apply again for SSN?

Thanks!!

If you file with your husbands last name, then your EAD and GC will have that last name. No need to notify interviewer. Also, u only get 1 SSN, however you can change the name on the card if its not already in your married name. You can use your EAD to make such change but you will get a restricted card so I would wait till I receive the greencard to make the change and get an unrestricted one
