Approved but still no passport!!!!

Hi everyone.

We are very happy that we are approved at Mumbai consulate on 10th. Waiting in Mumbai itself to get the passport with visa stamped. Yesterday, same day of interview went to VFS Mumbai and today but the passport is not arrived to them yet. The guy with IR1 gave interview with me on the same day have got his passport today but not me :crying: we are little bit concerned.

Please tell us if I get my visa on the same day or not. And how many days it takes to collect it from the Mumbai VFS.

Call DOS and check if teh visa has been printed. If they say YES , then it should be there next day ... If they say approved but not printed yet then hold on it would be coming soon

I-129F process (K-1 visa):

01-11-2012 NVC Received

01-12-2012 NVC Left

01-24-2012 Consulate Received

07-20-2012: Biometrics Appt/Case received by CSC

01-07-2013: 1st Service Request ( Outside Processing Time )

02-24-2013: 2nd Service Request ( Outside Processing Time )

03-22-2013: AOS Approval without Interview

03-27-2013: Greencard Received

Check VFS website to track your passport status. Our CR1 interview as on 9/7. They shipped passport with visa package on 9/10 (due to weekend) and delivered at home on next day.
