I was married to an immigrant from Turkey for about 4 years. She just recently received her American Citizenship. Unfortunately, we were separated back in November 2011. We tried to work things out but our marriage did not last and we filed for divorce on Aug. 9, 2012. In the state of California, the divorce process takes about 6 months. My divorce should be complete on the date of Feb. 10, 2013. In between the separation, I met a lady from a Mexican border town. I would see her couple times a month and we talked on the phone all the time. We eventually ended up falling in love and I proposed to her right after the divorce was filed between my wife and I. My current fiance has a 10 year tourist visa. I plan on getting married to her in mid-May of 2013. Will there be any obstacles since I sponsored a foreign bride in the past? If so, what advice can you provide for me?

Thank You

I have went through this also and had no problems in Las Vegas. Just make sure to have lots of proof and show it to each other in the interview but don't over do it. They can't stop you just because of one mistake. Everyone deserves a second shot at being happy.
