DS-3032 email rejected?

Hi all,

We sent our DS 3032 email to the NVC right when we got our case number on August 28. In the email my wife told them she did not want to designate anyone and to continue to contact her at our address here in Thailand (since I'm not in the US, we don't have a lawyer and the mail is quite reliable here)

Now two weeks later we get the following response:

"Dear Sir/Madam:

The National Visa Center (NVC) received your inquiry regarding the immigrant visa petition: (case number) filed by XXXXXXXXX on behalf of XXXXXXXXX.

We are unable to add third party contact information to the case record at this time. Please continue to notify the NVC of any change in the petitioner's or principal applicant's address."

Does this mean that we have to resubmit and wait TWO MORE WEEKS just for the stupid acceptance email and subsequent IV invoice?

Thanks in advance.

Also, I STILL have not been invoiced for AOS stuff - it's been two weeks. Is it normal to wait this long? Seems like most people get theirs much sooner.

To the best of my knowledge, they will not accept the DS-3032 until fees are "paid" and it is requested you send DS-3032. And that should go for all documents.

Incorrect, fee payment has nothing to do with DS-3032 acceptance.

I sent mine a day after yours and received that very same email yesterday. I just resent it..

Perhaps is best to call into NVC, using a telephone, and ask for an AOS FEE BILL to be emailed to the Petitioner.

Call every two days, until that actually happens.

Ive been told you have to wait till the AOS has been posted for paymebt. But everybody is diff. Mine was rejected to then we got the actual email to send ds3032 and pay I864. So hopefully it will come soon.

AOS POSTED FOR PAYMENT FOR WHAT?

AOS Payment is only tied to WHEN to send off the AOS packet. Nothing else. this 'everyone is diff' stuff is incorrect.

There's a series of steps to do, to 'go fast' at NVC. Please do not mix terms and mix streams. Mixing streams in a convo is really bad, as it confuses the person yer trying to assist here.

OP - please read LingChe in the wiki here. Purty Please?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

Just saying we did not send until it was requested by NVC, they will usually reject paperwork unless requested. And they did not request until after AOS was paid
