ETA: I'll take a pic of mine too... but mine's not an engagement ring or wedding band... it was just a gift from my hubby on our wedding day... is that OK? does it still count? :blush:

It was so funny at the time too! We had this really pretty elaborate set of gold and these cheap silver rings. :lol:

Very cute! We have the same thing on our engagment rings but ours are yellow gold. :thumbs:

I tried to talk my fiance into buying me a Diamond ring instead of the gold set for our engagment, he said no way :angry:he insisted it be Gold becuase he said it would make him look bad if he gave me a diamond ring which most people in Jordan would think was fake :lol: He promised for the wedding he would though, thank God!

haha that sounds like when I told him I didn't want yellow gold, he was like "uh then what do you want? Silver?" I said no, I just prefer to have white gold. He thought that it would look to everyone that he bought me a silver ring, make him look cheap I guess. But I insisted, and won :hehe:

:angry: Every battery in my house is dead! I just got home and got my new heater together and sat down to read VJ before bed (I have no life LOL). I saw this thread and remember OH YAH!!! Got my camera out and the battery's dead... son's camera is dead too :angry:

Oh well maybe tomorrow. anywho... It's white gold with a figure eight design in diamonds. I don't do yellow gold and he said the women in his family would make fun of me because they'll think it's silver :lol:

He told me a silver on is ok i insisted on the one I wanted for him to have. Well it was a size too big and we had to get it resized before our wedding, we got it done and not once did he tell me that due to his religous beliefs that he should have silver. I was reading on Islam and found out two days after our wedding party. Well the day after our wedding party th ering broke where they had cut it. So these are the rings we used for our wedding and I still have mine but he has a silver ring. When we have another ceramony here for my family we are going to get platnum rings since I think it will work and not violate his beliefs.
