Yesterday I got email and they asked for birth certificate of my co-sponsor, as they want a proof for relation with my sponsor.

i think co-sponsor(joint sponsor) shall not be relative with beneficiary! shall him?

offcourse its possible. but why that is not interview letter ?. 5 to 10 days to post interview dates for november 2012. i hope everythig goes on the way.

sorry i'm confused! you mean the co-sponsor has to be relative with petitioner? can't be someone else for example a friend ?

co-sponspor can be non relative person . relative or relative's sponspor can sponsor the beneficiary . if i am wrong ready to hear correct answer , thank you.

i agree with you but gill81 told NVC wanted him to send his cosponsor birth certificate to check his relation ship to him! because of that i doubt i'm wrong

If Gill81 did interview on 2010. the request should be from local office (as of pakistan) but im not sure because his/her interview maybe was on december 2010. maybe with no visa number (2011) i dont know .

and what is your pd Mohammada ?

my PD is 28 of April 2011, after a hard period of time finally found a good co-sponsor and just sent affidavit of support of my spouse plus co-sponsor to NVC, and waiting for their reply. by the way how long does it take to receive their reply?

how long you waiting ? i cant remember when i submitted my documents tough how long it takes ask it new people like pd 2010/2011/2012. they can know that.

28/apr/2011 you have to wait some some months . Inshallah you hear good news soon.

OK guys let me explain as best of my understanding since i am been involved in immigration matter about my spouse. For co sponsor only need for financial responsible mean I864 affidavit of support he or she can be your relative or not relative but he must be us citizen or lawfully residence in us mean green card their is no need of birth certificate of co sponsor its very surprising demand by the nvc witTH GILL its realy unusual i dont know whay they ask it gill need to be call and take clarification from them. My prediction for nov is july 1st to july 8 2010
