Hello, Received my NOA1 on March 29 so pretty soon I should receive some information on interview. So I decided to create a checklist for me and my fiance. So when we have if we get approved for an interview all the things on his end and my end financial is set. I notice that there is said you have to $80 on the day of the interview. Now we are doing a K1 visa and a two visa for his two babies. So I know I have to pay $525 to banco poplar ($160 per visa and $15 per visa). My question is the $80.00 is just for the interview or do I have to pay $80.00 per visa on the day of the interview?

Not sure where you got $80 from. The processing fee for a K-1 visa is $240.

read my question. The $240 is $160 for banco poplar and $80 at the day of the interview my question is the fee that I pay at the day of the interview is per visa or just one time fee.

Okay that was my question. All I wanted to know was the $80 was processing for each visa or just for the interview. I know that $160 of if goes to banco poplar. I was just making sure if I still had to pay the $80.00 per visa.

Yes, I see now. Your consulate does the fees in a very strange way. Partial payment of $160 up front and then another $80 on the day of your interview. I found this thread that should be helpful to you: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/377461-k-1k-2-visa-fees-from-dom-rep/page__view__findpost__p__5518656

It's going to be $240 for each visa. So $160 + $80 for each separate visa. Make sure you get 2 separate receipts from Banco Popular, you will need a separate one for the processing fee.

Fiance visa ($160 + $15) then $80

Child A visa ($160 + $15) then $80

Child B visa($160 + $15) then $80

K1 Visa Process -> 12/09-06/10 Married -> 09/10/10 AOS Process -> 09/10-12/10 Removal of Conditions-> 09/12-07/13

U.S. Naturalization -> 7/8/20

is 80 per visa the day of the interview. the $15 bank fee is only for the adult not the children.

Besides the banco popular receipts, these are the medical exam and vaccine fees you should expect IF you decide to do them in D.R. (which is much cheaper than doing them here in the US)

The medical exam & vaccine prices depend on the children's ages and the time of the year. Flu Season =(August 21st-April 30)'s medical exam cost is about $60 more for each K1/K2 applicant. I'm going to break down the fees for you, since the cost of the K1/K2 visa went down in April.

$160.00 - banco popular receipt for EACH K1/K2 beneficiary (in your case you will get 3 banco popular receipts; in your case $480)

$15.00 - banco popular receipt for any K1/K2 applicant 18 or older (so it only applies to your fiance not the kids)

$80.00 - K1/K2 visa cost (this is paid at the day of the interview & it's for EACH applicant, for you will be $240)

$350.00 - medical exam & vaccines for your fiance (total price)

$286.00 - medical exam & vaccines for children (ages 5-10)

$441.00 - medical exam & vaccines for children (ages 2-4)

$1,070.00 - AOS for your fiance (this fee includes the application for the AP & EAD)

$685.00 - AOS for your fiance's children (each one will be $685 as long as they're under 14 at the time of filing AOS)

Sometimes, the children don't need all of the vaccines so at the day of the medical exam it will probably cost way less, they will be able to tell you what vaccines are needed and which ones are not based on the children's vaccines record. More than likely adults dont have any of them, but most children do. I highly suggest to take the amount that is requested on their website to be on the safe side. Children can't go for the medical exams on Thursdays either. For my step daughter, we paid around $380.00 because she was 1 at the time of the exam and it's much more expensive for children her age. For my fiance, it came up to around $290.00, but this is because it wasn't flu season.
