I have been saving all our interaction (Skype, Facebook, Yahoo) and WU receipts. I am going in December to visit her and her family for the first time and it will be during Christmas and New Years. Now I have plans to try to be at her medical and interview as well. I am 44 and she is 21. I know the age will be the hardest to overcome, but I think being at her side during all this and in Manila where she has never been (she has never left Zamboanga City), shows my dedication to her, and her to me.

Yes you can bring him.. From my understanding what they will look at is if your husband is well into his later life with not much fiancial income or investments. Example is if your husband was receiving social security only with no other source of income and he only meets the minimum 125% poverty guidelines then yes I would say you could be denied as the USA would be concerned about you coming here and your husband not living many more years (God forbid) thus you becoming a part of our welfare system. You mentioned pre-nup,,,, so me here at the 50,000 foot level looking in with no data, I would ask what plans are in place in the event he passes. I don't mean to be the one that brings you down from the other replies, however I believe common sense prevails on age gaps. I am 46, my fiancee is 24. My friend has a filipina wife and they were approved at 29 year age gap he being 59 to her 30 at the time. He was earning about 80k annually.

Good luck

Hi,my husband is doing well in terms of financial,he run his own business, and he earn more that what poverty average income need..my concern is just our age deference.. Anyway "PRE-NUP" what i mean is our PER-nuptial photoshoot, our pictures before our wedding day. Anyway also we hire agent to make my papers no mistake,it is a minus point on hiring a agent instead we do it by our self?he just want to avoid mistake. Thanks.

Yes, it helps if you could bring him. But, don't worry --you will be fine. Just be ready to answer the questions during the interview with evidence of genuine relationship. I have a co-worker, his daughter was only 22 and the man was I think like 60 when they got approved of CR-1 visa. Good luck!

Thank so much..i feel much better now,my concern is just our age gap it seems its not an issue in USEM..Cuz in terms of financial we are not worry on it,My husband run his own business and he earn more that what poverty average income needs..Thank you for sharing the story..it really helps me a lot on my interview day. :)

I am 21 years older than my husband and age was not a big issue at the interview. As long as you can show that your relationship is real and genuine you will be fine. I also went to the interview with my husband. By the way my husband arrives here in the US this Friday kicking.gif

i am going for the k1 interview in 2 weeks time.. Now am worried about the age differences between me and my fiancee,we have 32yrs big and large age different...Outside the age ,we dont have problem because if the consulate we give me time to explain to him or discuss this issue, they will feel the chemistry between me and my Juliet.. But still somebody should give me advice here please..
