Onye is correct. You didn't lie on your immigration regarding a denied visa because neither the I-130 nor the DS-230 asks for that information. I was denied a tourist visa before my interview for my k-1 visa. The consular officer asked me if I had applied for a visa before. Of course, I said yes. It's not that they don't know but they want to check if you are going to lie. If you lie about one thing then it would be a red flag and would assume that you are lying about something else. Before my interview is done, I asked whether I was approved or not. The CO said I was approved and I got my visa 2 days later. Just be truthful about your answers. Good luck!

Onye,Thanks alot,i will remain confident and consistent and say the truth if asked, confident is the key,so am confident, thanks again

tension, fear& confusion via the omputer..........stay positive. Now everything U remember has to be told if ASKED

U cannot lie to immigration, U cannot use the excuse that U was young at 22 yrs old and dont know what someone else

wrote but u could have forgotten some things ,so tell the truth, U keep emphazing about your fingerprints not been taken

not for a minute believe U can outsmart the system, but offer up no mistakes if its not brought up.....good lusk ....breatheee

They never ask in any forms whether you have been denied a visa. So you never lied in the form okay. I know you need to have a 100% confident during your interview, hence, trying to clear all grey areas before then. However, you have to make up your mind right now that everything is fine. Tell yourself that you're well prepared and regain a full self-confidence going into your interview. Re-oriente your mind and believe you're fine. Be ready to answer only questions asked and don't bring up issues not asked. I've seen a guy out of forbia, when ahead to disclose an info not requested, because he has been nursing the fear and his thought process was centred on that particular issue. He never got to spend 5 mins before his interview was over. The next was his petition being returned for review and possible revocation. The bottomline is have a liberal mind going into this your interview and relax ok. Let us know how you fared after. All the best!

Wow! I couldn't of put it better myself!, you need to just answer what is asked. I can just imagine what you must be thinking. RELAX  like some others have stated to you... It probably won't even be brought up...

Best of luck to you!

Thanks alot everyone, yes i got some info too, that states they only keep name and DOB so they might not even ask about it and i have recollected what the consular office asked me then, she asked me twice...she says......( if i approved your visa how can you convince me that you will come back to Nigeria after your study ) and i answered yes because my dad has a place for me where i will be working after my study and she asked again and i gave the same answer...so she refused me basically because i didnt demonstrate well and wasnt married so she couldnt find any ties i might come back after my study so that was the reason she denied me,so i didnt lie about anything then before but late uncle filled the visa application forms but i couldnt remember if he filled it online or on paper and submittied at the embassy sorry i have been trying to remember it was about 13-14 years ago i applied....and as for my name middle name that changed,i was born as a muslim so my parent were using my muslim name for me which was Habeeb but there was a time i wanted to converted to christian in school but they wouldnt let me convert at home so when i was growing i decided to be using my other name which is Ayodeji as my middle name and not my muslim name anymore and as for my DOB i didnt have birth certificate initially as you know Nigeria system i was born at home so it was late my uncle that took me to passport office then and we obtained my passport so later when my mom told me my real birth i used it on my eletronic passport and dad sworn affidavit in high court and i obtain my new birth certificate at Nigerian National Population Ceusus, that was how exactly everything went,i told my wife everything already and she is coming for my interview,i will appreciate anymore knowledge that can be contributed....thanks alot everyone...i will say the truth and i hope i should be fine

You have nothing to worry about...student visa is not for immigration purpose and you weren't able to demonstrate that you have something that will make you to return to Nigeria after your education and as such your visa is denial...this is now another type of visa written immigration to o'l good United States and you have to demonstrate that you entered the marriage in good faith not for immigration benefit....So instead of pressing your self into nervousness...you better work on your mindset to be calm and normal during the interview....I was denial two visas to visit the USA in 2006 for a program but was approved on 2011 for my CR1. My intention is clear because i entered my marriage in good faith...just go to the embassy review at visajourney and get all the questions normally asked by the interviewer and proper to answer them even before they are asked...sound funny...but i just mean you have to prepare for the interview and take all the evidence of on-going relationship and forget about the last visa denial and if it come up...just tell them the truth.
