how many passport photos do i need?

I am now filing I-130, i-485 and i-765..

i remembered someone mentioned 7.. however, i checked with the instructions, i-130 i need 1, i-485 i need 2, i-765 i need 2 total is 5. and my hubby needs only 1 for i-130?

- 7/23/2008 came to US with F-1 visa
- 9/11/2012 I-485, I-130 and I-765 package sent to USCIS Chicago lockbox
- 9/12/2012 package delivered and signed by XXX
- 9/14/2012 received email with receipt numbers
- 9/17/2012 check cashed
- 9/30/2012 received hard copy of biometrics appointment on 10/19/2012, notice dated on 9/21/2012
- 10/12/2012 successfully walk-in one week earlier without asking reason at New York Long Island City office
- 11/5/2012 started to work in a new firm
- 11/11/2012 EAD approved!!! AWESOME!
- 11/19/2012 EAD card delivered, one day ahead of my birthday!
- 1/11/2013 received txt and email about interview time
- 2/14/2013 interview - Got APPROVED on the spot!!
- 2/27/2013 USCIS online update - 485 decision!! we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status :) Later, my 130 update too!!!
- 3/4/2013 Card Production!!

- 11/24/2014 I-751 package sent to USCIS Vermont Service Center to remove conditions

- 11/25/2014 package was delivered and signed by XXX

- 11/26/2014 check cashed @16:49 before thanksgiving!

- 12/17/2014 bio letter received, scheduled on Dec 30, 2014 11:00 AM

- 12/19/2014 early bio done in Long Island City Office!

ive said this time and time again on this forum site, FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS to the T. DO NOT let others tell you different. DO WHAT THE GOVERNMENT INSTRUCTS YOU TOO! so, if they say you need 200 photos for the 1-130 and 459 for the i-485, thats how many you get taken and send. simple, FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS step BY step. if you are unclear or unsure ( as im sure you know ) go to www.uscis.gov and click on the forms tab and find the form you are looking for then simply click on the instructions for that form and read and follow what it says. do not listen to what others say. please. i find it almost a JOKE that people get lawyers for this process simply because instructions are printed out for you in black and white lol. neways, good luck!

Day 000- 08/08/2011 - Petition for alien relative (I-130) mailed to Chicago Illinois

Day 003- 08/11/2011 - Text and email confirmation from USCIS of receipt

Day 013- 08/22/2011 - Received receipt for I-130

Day 198- 03/07/2012 - Text and email confirmation of APPROVED I-130!

Day 203- 03/12/2012 - I-130 approval letter received

Day 323- 07/05/2012 - AOS package (I-485 + I-765) mailed to Chicago Illinois

Day 329- 07/11/2012 - Text and email confirmation from USCIS of receipt

Day 332- 07/14/2012 - Received receipts for I-485 and I-765

Day 336- 07/18/2012 - Recieved ASC Appointment Notice (biometrics) for 08/02/2012 @ 8:00am

Day 341- 07/23/2012 - Biometrics early walk-in SUCCESS!

Day 372- 08/23/2012 - Text and email confirmation of Interview date set for October 4th, 2012

Day 372- 08/23/2012 - Received interview letter in mail!

Day 384- 09/04/2012 - Text and email confirmation of EAD Card Production. OMG! approval feels good!

Day 390- 09/10/2012 - Text and email confirmation of EAD Card mailed to address on file

Day 390- 09/10/2012 - Text and email confirmation of USPS picking up mail from USCIS

Day 393- 09/13/2012 - Received EAD Card in mail!!!!

Day 393- 09/13/2012 - Text and email confirmation of USPS reporting the EAD Card was received by customer!

Day 414- 10/04/2012 - Interview and on the spot APPROVAL! PERMANENT RESIDENT!

You need 5 total. I for I-130, 2 for I-485 and 2 for I-765. Also the USC/Petitioner need one for I-130.

People say 7 because I-131 also requires 2 photos, and most of people do apply for that.

Since you are not submitting that form, 5 are enough.

Here you go...

Immigrant needs 7 (1 for I-130, 2 for I-485, and 2 for I-765. If filing I-131 also then add 2 more photos)

USC needs 1 (lucky USC :whistle: )
