it is 2 years not 10 years because i came on a k1 visa so when u adjust from a k1 u get a 2 year green card then in 3 months before its expiration u apply for removal of conditions to get the 10 year green card.

When you came to the Us with a k1 visa, when you adjust, you get a conditional greencard o conditional residence for 24 month. The goverment wants to know if all those marriages are for the right reason. Then, 90 days before the dead line for the gc, you should submit the I751 to remove those conditions and become a permanent resident. After a year of permanent residence (3rd year of bonafide marriage) you can apply for citizenship, if you want

I have started a poll regarding K1 AOS transferred to CSC poll <-----click

Could anyone who are K1 and filed AOS that was transferred to CSC please participate (approved or pending)? Hopefully this will give us some insight into the processing times...

Thanks

p.s. please spread the word to other fellow K1 AOS'ers
