Wedding Music: need help with ideas

So the only instrument we're going to have is a piano and the only times we'll need music is for my processional with my daughters and then again for the recessional when all of us leave the sanctuary...

I don't want the traditional bridal march... any ideas??? This is one of the last details we have to work out!

Hi JenT. Congratulations! I have my wedding song lists that I want to be played on my wedding day.I dont mind sharing them, I dont know if you'll like them though. :)

My Daughter refused to get married if there was the traditional weddingmarch..... instead she chose the March of the Emporers from StarWars..

Ave Maria's what we had, I just love it.

First time around we had Vivaldi Four Seasons which was nice too.

10 year Green Card received, Next step is citizenship urgh!

I NEVER thought I would go with the Bridal March, but my mom has hired us a bagpiper as a gift, and I went over and over the different songs that bagpipers usually play and "Here Comes the Bride" sounds SO neat on bagpipes. http://www.bagpiper.com/link_in_frame.php?link=123&c=

we used Elvis' song "Love Me Tender" for the processional... one of hubby's fav songs....

and for the recessional we used Stevie Wonder's song, "You are the sunshine of my life"

We might keep with the beach theme and hire a calyspo band for the 'here comes the bride' processional.

Might sound really funky and cool!
