NOT SURE ABOUT NOA1

hi everyone

i would like to ask about I-129-F ....

I and my fiance are a lil confused thou.. you see, we sent the package aug. 14 ,2012 then he told me on august 16 he got a receipt from them that they have already received the payment , question is, was that the actual NOA1? cos it has been 24days oredy and we are not sure if they approved oR package or what

Is the title of the receipt called Form I-797C and Notice of Action printed on the upper portion? If it is then it is NOA1.

Did he get a hard copy fro the Department of Homeland and Security? If yes, check on the upper right hand side, it should say "I-797C Notice of Action" ( for NOA 1 )

Isn't I-797 Notice of Action or NOA2? I am not sure if the NOA's changed now..but with my NOA1 it was I-797C Notice of Action

Yep, if it is the Form I-197c, Notice of Action (NOA1).
