I am new to this site. But I have to say that it has been wonderful in answering alot of our questions thus far!!!! Thanks!

After my wife and I got married in the US (L) , I was there on a B1/2 Visa. Because we don't do this everyday... we didn't know what to do from there... During our confusion as to whether we needed to file all the paperwork and stay in the US, or for me to come back to the UK, and have my Wife file from the US for me to receive a K-3 Visa. I overstayed my Visa by approx. 6 weeks. Will this be a problem in getting my K-3 approved??? If so... Is there ANY way to resolve the problem??? Can someone PLEASE :help:

Thanks for your reply. I'm back in the UK...My sweet Wife filed all the paperwork, and the U.S.C.I.S. has had the I-129f form since July! I'm just ready to get back home with her,I miss her dearly! And I just don't want something like this to stand in the way!

JSPink,

A six-week overstay, in and of itself, should not be a problem.

JSPink,

I agree with Yodrak's post, but I'm going to add this. Your thread is a good example of why you should not continue your case without consulting an attorney. I have a feeling you'd be a lot happier today if you had done so right before or after your marriage date.

HELLO,

As others suggested I also suggest you to avoid any hassles consult a lawyer.
