we have pretty much the same timeline... even though i did not bother to do a "walk in".. i will have my biometrics in two days.... let me know any update!!

My Biometric is supposed to be tommorrow but I did walk-in as I have said before.I will update you with new information here since we have similar time-line.Thanks

in general, doing an early walk-in does speed things up. if you had waited for your original appointment date, you probably would have had an extra three weeks for your entire process from filing to receiving the GC. don't lose hope just yet!

07/26/2012 - 10/18/2012: 85 Days from Application Received to GC Received.
Removal of Conditions
07/22/2014 - 11/14/2014: 116 Days from Application Received to GC Received.
Naturalization
02/03/2016 - 05/31/2016 : 119 Days from Application Received to Oath Ceremony.

I also believe that walk-in biometric will speed up the process. Look at my timeline and you will see:

9-11-2012: mailed the package I130 & I485

9-25-2012 : walk-in biometric ( my actual appointment is Oct 12, 2012)

10-14-2012: received mail for the interview, which is Nov 14, 2012

11-14-2012: Interview

(Day 7) 9/17/2012 - NOA hard copies received for I-130, I-485

(Day 9) 9/19/2012 - NOA hard copies received for biometric,which is on 10/12/2012

(Day 35)10/15/2012 - Received letter for interview, which is on 11/14/2012

(Day 65)11/14/2012 - Interview ( so worried....)

Early walk in for bio sometimes speed up the process but not always. I've read somewhere on here in the past where an IO told someone that some people process is shorter than some for security reasons..( not idea what they mean by that)

I have a RFE, I forgot to add the I-693 and they ask me for my last taxes.

07/07/2012 – Marriage.

09/06/2012 – AOS filing submitted via UPS to Chicago lockbox (I-130, I-485, G-325A , I-864, G-1145).

09/08/2012 – AOS filing delivered, signed by J. Chyba.

09/11/2012 – Received NOA1 for I-130 and I-485 forms filed via text message.

09/17/2012 – Received NOA1 hard copies (I-130, I-485) and also biometrics appointment [10/11/2012].

09/21/2012 - RFE ( I forgot to send the I-693....Shame on me!!)

09/25/2012 - Sent I-693 via USPS

09/27/2012 - RFE delivered.

09/28/2012 - RFE response received.

10/11/2012 - Biometrics completed.

11/02/2012 - Online update on USCIS web site for interview (December 13) :-)

11/02/2012 - Received text message for I-485 case update.

11/02/2012 - Received Hard Copy Interview Notice.

09/07/2012 - Mailed AOS package (I-130,I-485,I-765) via USPS Express Mail.

09/10/2012 - Package delivered by USPS.

09/12/2012 - Email notification received.

09/17/2012 - NOAs for I-130, I-485 and I-765 received in the mail.

09/20/2012 - Biometrics appt scheduled for 10/04/2012.

10/04/2012 – Biometrics completed.

11/02/2012 - Interview scheduled for 12/04/2012.

11/14/2012 - 1st text EAD approved/production.

11/19/2012 - 2nd text EAD approved/production.

11/20/2012 - EAD mailed.

11/24/2012 - EAD received.

12/04/2012 - Interview..approved, thank God! :D

My local office is Santa Ana, Orange County, Ca.

As I am doing the Opt, i do not submit for the EAD, only I 485 & I 130. I did check online and see that my I485 is updated when any notice is issued. Auctually, I see my I 485 is updated to "test and interview" one day before my actual biometric appointment. Thus, i believe in my case, walk-in biometricreally speed up the process

You have the same office as us. It took about two weeks to get our interview notice after our biometric date. We have our interview next Monday. Here's hoping you get yours soon!!

4/2012: Met online and began this cRaZY journey

9/2/2011: He proposed and I said YES!!After multiple trips back and forth.....

7/4/2012: He entered USA at LAX on B2 to visit 6 months

8/8/2012: We got married!!8/8/2012: AOS packet sent (Day 0)

8/10/2012: Packet signed for at 11:48a (Day 2)

8/14/2012: We got our txt/email notifications (all 4) (Day 6)

8/16/2012: Checks cashed.. (Day 8)

8/23/2012: Biometrics letter received via "snail mail" today.. September 7th at 12p in Sacramento CA (Day 15)

8/27/2012: Finally received all 4 NOA1 hard copies via US mail (Day 19)

9/7/2012: Biometrics completed!! (Day 30)

9/19/2012: Received txt message for interview!! October 22nd, 2012.. (Day 42)

9/21/2012: And the interview letter comes in snail mail.. October 22nd, 2pm in Sacramento..Time to get the final stuff together.. (Day 44)

10/16/3012: Received txt msg, EAD is approved and card being mailed. Right before interview and not really needed anyhow!! (Day 69)

10/19/2012: After a bunch of repetitive text messages, my husband received his combo card EAD/AP.. Of course four days before our interview!! (Day 72)

10/22/2012: Interview.. APPROVED!! (Day 75) Next journey ROC!!

10/29/2012: Green Card received in US mail... (Day 82) WOO HOO!!

~ROC BEGINS!!~

08/25/2014: Lifting Conditions Packet Mailed to CA service center (Day 0)

08/27/2014: NOA1 Receipt (Day 2)

09/05/2014: Biometrics letter received via "snail mail" Set for September 15th at 10a in Sacramento CA (Day 11)

09/15/2014: Biometric completed... now we wait!! (Day 21)

11/21/2014: Card/Document Production email received!! (Day 88)

12/01/2014: Card arrives in our mailbox.. this chapter is over... (Day 98) Next is citizenship!!

Don't stress up yourself of the interview you will be just fine.What I've heard from people make sure you have sufficient documentation that supports your application.Good luck!
