Uh...what? You said you got the NOA's but then you said you didn't get the email NOAs. Then you said the hard copies are on their way. So what exactly did you get? I'm confused.

Finally the green card came in thru mail today, right after two days from the welcome letter. Thank you guys, this site has been phenomenal throughout this journey. Good luck to to everyone who is still waiting.

AOS Timeline from H1

- 06/22/2012 - Got married

- 09/13/2012 - Pkg (I-130,485, EAD) Sent to Chicago Lockbox

- 09/14/2012 (Day 1) - Package Delivered, signed for by J. Chyba

- Didn't file G-1145, so no notification :(

- 09/19/2012 (Day 6)- Checks cleared, yay :)

- 09/22/2012 (Day 9)- 3 Hard Copy NoA's arrived in mail

- 09/24/2012 (Day 11)- Biometrics appointment notice arrived for 10/11

- 09/26/2012 (Day 13)- Performed Walk-in Biometrics (2 weeks earlier)

- 09/27/2012 - Received Text notification that RFE has been requested

- 10/01/2012 - RFE Hard Copy Received

- 10/03/2012 - RFE Response Sent to Lee's Summit

- 12/11/2012 - GC has been picked up by the USPS

- 12/13/2012 (Day 91) - GC arrived in the mail.. yaaaaay..Exactly 3 months from filing date

Greetings Sept Filers,

I'm excited to see the update for my case today:

Card/ Document Production

On December 12, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Yay Yay :dance: Now just have to wait for when USPS has it picked up and delivered.

Best luck to all still waiting :thumbs:

From production to receipt in mail allow 8 to 10 days. After they say they have mailed your card, it takes 2 business days to receive it in your mail box. Wait till you have the card in hand, it's been a long journey...pheeew! Have a safe trip home and happy holidays!

Yup, still waiting for an interview date. Received my EAD nearly a month ago, but nothing but silence for the interview. :-(

Other AOS-ers from the August thread don't have their interview either, so I'm hoping it's just a slow office.

I just got my interview notice today for the end of January. We sent out petition early August so if yiy applied early September I would assume you would get your interview letter some time next month :)

Great news Xanax! Yup, I'm in MN and dealing with the Saint Paul office. It seems to have taken you 10 weeks from biometrics to a letter giving you an interview, and 14 weeks from biometrics to interview. That's quite a while. I hope the greencard comes soon after!!

Thank you September Filers! Thank you for the support fellow VJ's!

Hubby and I got approved today. We are beyond exhilarated :) ( If you are as neurotic as I am this is major!!:)

We went to the Los Angeles office for our interview today. ( Appointment at 11am, waited in line downstairs for 20min and upstairs for 2 hours!!! )

We had a very straight forward interview of about 30-40 min. Our IO, a very nice but stern women, went through every single question in the I-130 and I-485 for us to answer or confirm. She did asked me how we met and I told her. She was very interested in the joint bank account/insurances/contracts/pictures but didn't take any docmentation of us traveling together. She asked us for wedding pictures and we said that we don't have any ( I wonder if she knows that a wedding photographer in LA is 1.5K minimum? ...). Than she handed over two papers. One saying that I have to wait 90 days to receive the conditional GC ( she added it only takes 3 weeks though) and one paper that explained the ROC.

When we walked out of the building I got the text confirmation about the approval. Yay :)

05/08/2010 - met my love

08/11/2012 - got married! :)

We're still waiting for an interview date. We've been stuck at the scheduling stage for a month now, GRRRRRRR :bonk:

Whoooopeeeeee! I never applied for advance parole, and our Australian wedding celebration and honeymoon in Fiji is scheduled for August, so hopefully this means it will all be sorted. :-)
