well, I sent a joint sponsor because my wife doesnt have a job since she stayed over a year in Brazil with me, then I sent the application with joint sponsor and its tax returns... but did not realize that the sponsor(which still being my wife) needed to send her tax return, so they asked for that. Lucky she filled when she got back and I could send it quickly... hope they dont ask for anything else... waiting game!!!

In my case, biometrics and EAD was a breeze (literally). You can see it under my signature...but after that everything stopped and it has been almost a month since I've got my EAD card but I have not heard a thing...no snail mail letter, no e-notification or anything. I just checked my case status online at USCIS...it's stuck at one spot...they never will send interview notification...is this normal? Just wondering... >.<

Your signature shows your EAD was ordered a day after your biometrics! I think that's the first I've seen! Did you request an expedite? And from what I read from other posts, would be a good idea to call and see if an interview date has been set. Apparently, some people had interview dates set but never got a letter from the USCIS.

I agree. @Gandolftheyellow...Although case timelines may vary considerably, some thematic patterns may help to predict at what stage your case is or could be in. A quick check of this and other sites revealed most of those who filed between 1st and 10sep12 have received their interview dates. It's wise to infopass uscis, in this 'game' do not leave anything to chance

Do you guys think its a good idea to call them even though the USCIS website says it's under review still? I figure they must have the same system in front of them, so they'll tell me what I can already see on the site.. :(

I read in the forums that california field offices are notorious for lagging behind (backlogs) and NBC's policy is to schedule for interviews when slots are available. Give it a few more days, maybe a week and see what happens. Good luck!

That is certainly odd because your case should be on the USCIS website already. There's no reason why it shouldn't and I don't know how productive it is to call and ask. From what I read on the forum, it's a waiting game and unless it's life and death-we'd be hard pressed to get an answer from the call centers. Yes, if your biometric appointment is coming up, best to just go ahead and get it done, especially since it's around the corner. With your timeline, I'd say you have a very good shot at making it to Denmark for Christmas!

I actually called USCIS today and our case numbers didn't come up in the automated system either. I spoke with a USCIS officer who informed me that more times than not, the cases do not make it into the online or automated systems and that it's perfectly normal. She said they've been working on this for over a year now and still it's not reliable. Just thought I would post in case anyone else is having a problem accessing their case numbers online.

Thanks for the advice, I might call them then. No, I didn't request any expedite and I was, myself, quiet amazed at its speed as I've almost everyone waited at least one month from their biometrics to get their EAD. But honestly, I just applied as everyone does, since I'm an F1 international student, and I am going to continue school with the same full speed, and full credits even when I get my residence, and I am already working on-campus anyway I did not see the point of obtaining any expedite on EAD...I just felt safer to apply for it, even though it is sitting in the bottom of my drawer now, and (so far) completely useless for me to have. Anyway, I was quiet happy that my process goes that fast, but ever since I've got my EAD I have not heard anything at all. So you are right, I think I'm going to call them tomorrow just in case they forgot to notify over mail and the interview date is set already. Thanks for your advice! Good luck to you!

One more thing I'd like to add: it is odd, that I am "processed" at the NBC, while when I go online to the USCIS website, according to their table NBC does not even process I-130 and I-485 cases...so that suggests to me that this NBC will eventually (if have not done so) send my ####### (pardon!) to a local office...how do I know when they send it? Or how do I know that they have already done so....online it only says "accepted" for I-485 and "initial review" for I-130...I'm a bit confused on how the processing actually goes...any idea?

Thank you, thank you!
