Try this with water that eventually gets above 4°C and then report back to the class, okay?

OK so you are not able to understand. I was wrong.

OK so you are not able to understand. I was wrong.

At what temperature is water the most dense? What happens with water that warms over that point? And you're forgetting two other things: 1) sea levels are already on the rise which is somewhat hard to explain if your simplistic approach to think about this would hold water and 2) we have ice melting that's not currently floating in the oceans. The resulting water, however, will end up precisely there. But do continue to play with your ice cubes.

Ever read history of our planet???? Climatic changes happen and the Earth cools down and heats up in cycles and so do plants and animals become extinc in large numbers. Don't overestimate yourselves to think you have any influence to change or stop it

OK so you are not able to understand. I was wrong.

They are libruls after all  sense and logic is an unfair advantage others have over them

Windmills and the sun will save us all!

Why not use all those windmills in reverse, to move the Earth closer, or farther away from the Sun? It makes about as much sense as all this made-up science about man's effect on the climate.

Now, over-fishing the world's oceans, and destroying a major source of protein, that is something to be concerned about. Human overpopulation, and the destruction of arable land, that is something to be concerned about. But man's minor contribution compared to the climate system? Not worried at all. Global warming in general will be gradual enough that the human species will adapt easily. Too bad. We could easily solve the first two problems if we were not so successful in adapting to changes in the environment.

Simple experiment perhaps you can understand.

1. Put ice cubes in a glass. As many as you can.

2. Fill the glass to the very brim with water.

3. Wait for the ice to melt.

4. See if the glass overflows.

Report back to the class your findings.

I just tried this and as the ice cubes melted the glass overflowed and ruined my coffee table. My wife is pissed.
