Hi all, what this letter means? Yes, a friend of mine has been waiting for his Green Card and finally he got a letter from USCIS as follow:

If all the documents presented are in accordance with federal laws and the application has been filled out correctly please allow up to 90 days from the date you received this letter to receive your residence card, you will have to call the Social Security Office once you receive your card to obtain a Social Security valid for employment, lease note that this letter cannot be used as a proof of citizenship or legal residence. You cannot use this letter as a valid passport to try to cross the border or at any US Airport. It is your responsibility to hold this letter in a safe place upon arrival of your permanent resident card."

Just based on the wording of the letter, your friend will be getting his/her green card within 90 days.
