Hi everyone,

Once again coming across conflicting and old info and want to clarify something and I don't trust the instructions with the USCIS forms. (I looked and scoured and didn't find where the instructions for the I-485 said to include a copy of our marriage certificate but I'm just sure they would want that. Thats beside the point though. :hehe: )

Anyway, I am filing AOS from K-1 visa and need to know if I need to include the G325-A form with the I-765 and the I-131 as well as the I-485. Also, do I need to include one for the USC as well as the new hubby?

Any help is appreciated. Theres no way we could do this on our own with out this site!

Thanks in advance. :)

Yep! Definately using the guides and have seen those pages many times. I'm sorry I guess I'm overthinking it. I guess I saw someone else sent them in and questioned it....Been doing that alot.

Anyway, thanks for the response. :)

PS I still wonder about the instructions not including the marraige certificate though. I must have missed it though. lol.

The instructions state marriage certificate. Here: http://www.uscis.gov/files/form/i-485instr.pdf page 4, 12(b) if AOSing based on a K1 or K3.

The G-325A is only required for the immigrant UNLESS you're also filing an I-130, which if you're a K1 visa entrant, married in the 90 days and filing less than 2 years after marriage, you don't.

Make sure when you're reading advice that you check what visa they're AOSing from. That matters.
