I will be eligible to apply for citizenship in January 2013 based on 3 years marriage to USC. I moved to Manitoba Canada in July 2012 due to job. That was the only job offer I have. Previously I was living in Indiana and kept all of my links to IN including my vehicle registration, Driver License, bank account and etc. I just found out in order to apply for N400 you have to reside in the state you apply for 3 months, which mean I can not apply in Indiana. What do I need to do? I can't quit my job considering I have a family to feed. Is it feasible to rent an apt in North Dakota and drive every weekend for an hour cross the border and stay in North Dakota and claim North Dakota as my residency?

Did you move with your spouse? If not you cannot get approved for citizenship since you don't live together.

You also need to prove you actually live in the States. On the application it is asking about employment as well. You better not lie. Enetering the country for less than 24 doesn't count at all.
