My wife just completed her visa interview at Mumbai Consulate an hour ago and she got it approved!!!!!!! She entered consulate at 7:30am and was out of consulate by 8:40am :)

I will write up detailed consulate review soon :) It's time for us to celebrate. Thanks to all VJ members who helped us making this journey very smooth and peaceful at every steps :) God Bless! Amen!

Congratulation...it is so great that now a days mumbai consulate process is so quicker than what it was few years ago...one of my friendz wife also got visa within an hour ..enjoy ur moment...

Wow! Congratulations smart_84/sunshine_84. I know that you waited patiently so long to get the visa interview date. Currently I am in a similar boat to get the visa interview... Good Luck to you and your wife. Please keep us posted on when you receive the visa in hand (from interview to actual visa reaches to your wife.).

Thanks a lot :) Yes, my wife was 3rd in immigration queue when she entered the consulate and everything went thru quickly without any hassle.

No I did not travel. Mumbai Consulate in India does not allow USC to go inside with applicant for an interview.

I had my interview today., sep 12 :) USEM 6:30am

had my finger print around 7:30am

Pre-interview: 9:45am

Non break: 12:00

Back at USEM 1pm

Interview with the foreign consul: 1:44pm

And approved 1:45pm ^__^

Final instructions: 1:55pm

Out in USEM: 1:59pm

Thank God :)

Questions they ask:

(pre-interview)

When did u meet ur husband?

How did u meet?

Since when did your husband there in the states?

When was ur wedding date?

Did u bring some pictures?

(consular's interview)

Do u swear all here in your documents are true?

When did ur husband had his citizenship?
