I worry about my fiance being bored as well. But he is a pretty simple guy, and as he told me, he "has his Xbox." Lol. I honestly think that HE will be bothered by the fact that he can't work, only because he really wants to provide for me instead of the other way around. He was like that when I first came to Honduras and I was working while he was not, but he has gotten over that now that he has a job. I have looked into enrolling him into classes about things that he enjoys (computers, programming, etc.) and we have a community center in my town where he can take art, drawing, cartooning and animation classes if he wants to learn anything like that. He also really likes helping other people, so I'm hoping that I can find him a place to volunteer a few days until he gets the ability to work and then, subsequently, go to university.

My parents took the liberty of planning a family vacation to Disney in January, about two months after we arrive in the US. I think this will greatly help him if he feels bored, because it will be something new and exciting for him. I want to also make sure I keep his weekends exciting, showing him around, taking his places, maybe a weekend in Chicago or to a festival or even out to eat or going bowling, and not staying at home every night on the weekends. It will be pretty damn cold in December and January but he already told me that he wants to experience that type of weather so we will try it (I hate cold weather and haven't even seen snow in 2 years...). We talk a lot about his expectations, what he wants to do there, what he wants to see, where he wants to go, what he is interested in learning or doing or classes he wants to take. He is pretty adaptable so I'm pretty lucky in that.

We will set up his mother with a MagicJack so he can call her at any time, or she can call him, which I think will help him with any homesickness he will feel. Luckily we have been able to spend the past 2 years together in the same country, so we practically know everything about each other and how we work. I'm super thankful for that!
