I agree, get on with your life. We were in limbo for 1,5 years (and if you read my previous posts you see odds were against us for approval) but we didn't let that stop us from getting on with our life..life is to short and to precious to waste time worrying over something you can't control. In the time we were waiting, we bought two new cars and started a new business and in the end got our approval. Hang in there and live life as if the paper is coming.

I don't think USCIS hires illegals.

Well that comment doesn't apply to Obama either since he isn't illegal.

Geez

Hello,

Our first post here. Yes we filed in Feb this year and are still waiting for an approval. Vermont....

Anyway, my wife and I have literally put our lives on hold. We won't buy a home as there is a chance that we can be disapproved. What are the odds of disapproval? We never needed to provide more evidence and have not had an interview.

I just looked at the September 2011 filers and they still have only 57% approved! We are seriously considering moving back to the UK...

I blame Obama's government...

Thanks for support.

Steve and Maria :crying:

Excellent, so why are you setting up shop here then Guvnor?

England is quite nice and a wonderful place to set up home. Go for it I daresay.

PS: I thought the Brits are supposed to have a stiff upper lip.

Get on with it, by a home you need one anyway and be positive. Also we waited 10 months for our AOS, yea I complained, contacted my Congressman (waste of time)and the Ombudsman at the 8-9 month mark etc.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.

Well, you have all the right to blame obama. He has made this process much more difficult for everyone. But what can I say, when you have "obama koolaide" drinkers on this site, you will probably be called a racist before its all said and done. Why don't some of you watch the news? Just last week, an employee for the USCIS, working at Vermont, resigned due to an on going investigation that discovered she, and others at USCIS, are using our hard earned money that we pay for these processes, and our tax dollars, for their own "sexual escapades." Also, Secretary of DHS, Janet Napolitano, stated in a press conference that the number one priority of the USCIS, right now, is protected status of Syrian nationals here in the US, and that other visa situations can and may be slowed down or halted for this. This is to protect the Syrians who are here, and not force them to go back to their own country when their visas expire, while they are in the midst of war. Well, I did some homework, and I have discovered that Vermont is the Center dealing with the Syrians. Also, secretary Napaoliatano was asked about other visa processes, dealing with US Citizens of family of, and her statement was as follows, and I quote:

"I really don't care at the moment. We need to show Syria that we have their back and will help them in this time of desperation. President Obama gives me the power to do what I want to do. This is what I want to do, what America wants to do, and what I am Doing!"

So those of you who are dogging the OP for blaming obama, you all need to get off his back and do your own research before ridiculing him. So OP, I have your back, and I completely understand and agree with you. You are not alone here. I hope and pray you will hear something soon.

GOD BLESS!!!

PS> For anyone trying to blame PRESIDENT BUSH.... I have lived in Peru with my fiancee and her family in the past..I have personally watched the American Dollar deteriorate before my very own eyes while obama has been is office. When President Bush left office, $50 American Dollars equaled to 577.26 Peruvian Soles ...Now, after obama has been in office, $50 American Dollars equals to 130.62 Soles. You people do the math. Also, I have had several Peruvians ask me why Bush cannot be President again...their economy was booming and their poverty rate was going down when Bush was in office. Now they are declining fast. I have seen this first hand, so don't tell me that I have no clue as to what I am talking about.

Sorry for going off topic.

As always, have a nice day! :)

And along came the Spider........

Until USCIS has some transparency and or we have an administration who will actually deal with our VJ legal issues (processes) their won't be much change. As long as illegal entry and overstay overrides and takes precedent our attempts got get our loved ones on USA soil legally we will always be second class in this process. Keeping in mind that there are employees who do an good job and try their best in the system they have.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.
