I am filing for an IR-1 for my wife and IR-2 for my adopted son.

I am filling out a separate I-864 for each of them. Since I live in Mexico and don't meet the income requirements, my mother is a co-sponsor and is also filling out separate I-864 for my wife and son. So I'll be submitting four I-864s in total.

I just want to make sure that we're filling out Part 5 on Sponsor's Household Size correctly. This is how part 5 of my mother's form looks for both my wife and son:

a)1 (# of people sponsoring in this affidavit)

b)1 (yourself)

c)0 (if currently married)

d)1 (# of dependent children- my sister)

e)1 (any other dependents- here I'm counting my son, who my mother will also be sponsoring)

f)0 (if you have sponsored any other people on I-864 who are now lawful permanent residents)

g)0 (if you have siblings, parents, or adult children serving as co-sponsors)

h)4 (household size)

Is this the right way to list my son, as "other dependent"? Of course, he doesn't appear on my mother's taxes as a dependent, but I'm not sure where else to list him. The I-864 for my wife is listed the same way.

Thanks!
