there's other steps for Electronic Processing; India doesn't participate in the Electronic Processing Program.

But for yer question, yup. It's the same, except for those countries that have EP available or EP is mandatory.

It's the same forms/fees, just a total electronic intake on the docs.

However, this stuff is 'so common' for NVC Intake, Ling and Che wrote up a wiki entry about it - have you seen it? [LingChe NVC Shortcuts]

Oh Snap - the ONE Exception is for those folks filing for a visa via the DCF process - NVC ain't involved for them.

No, since Electronic Processing is unavailable for India cases, you cannot send documentation to the NVC electronically.

Taal, sorry again to intervene! I'm would HIGHLY recommend that you get that police certificate ASAP! Being that you WILL need it to send in with the DS-230. Remember that it must be originals. It is country dependent, in Dominican Republic my wife was able to get hers in 2 days. But you mentioned that in 5-6 weeks? You are in the NVC stage RIGHT NOW! Have you gotten the INN (Invoice Identification Number) from NVC? You are going to need that as well! Remember that once you receive both your NVC case number AND the INN, you can email the DS-3032.

Hope that helps!

Gracen buddy old paal- This is a wonderful Friday afternoon-JUst got my nvc case number and invoice # yeah.............

Taal, Taal, it's fine, you dont need that Barcode for the email. All you needed was your case number and your hubby's info, like DOB and yours as well... ..

Happy Saturday to ya!

Now you just wait to get invoiced ...

I tried to pay the fees and logged on but there was no fees it says 0. Does that mean once nvc looks at the ds-3032 form they will take it from there and keep checking? ANd wats the next step?

Taal, it's fine, you can resend it yourself from his email address  but ensure to utilize the template.

You have enough time anyways. Regarding the fees, yep your gonna get that for now. Remember that first you will have to pay the AOS FEE. The DS-3032 comes before the IV so you are still good. When you receive the error message in the payment portal stating that " cannot make payments at this time" that is when you know that you are about to be invoiced. I waited 48 hours in order for that message to go away and pay my $88. You are still on track no worries...

oh my.

you need to reread LingChe's NVC Shortcut and the DS-3032 email wiki pages.

when emailing the ds-3032 , you'll find no barcode is needed.

in fact, the form isn't needed.

-40 points from Gryffindor - please read.

If'n yer logged in ,reading VJ from a handphone, STOP. get to a pc, hit the wiki.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
