Hello Everyone,

My fiance received yesterday her packet from US Embassy in Warsaw Poland. We're a bit confused because it states payment must be made before scheduling her interview. Is there anyway I send a wire from US or a way for me to send her money to pay for interview from Minsk? Thanks in advance!

You are correct about what the site says as I have read it also and I did ask the same question elsewhere hoping someone who filed a K1 for a person in Belarus might have encountered a similar situation.

However, I had read on here some months ago about some people who were able to pay the fee on the day of the interview and give the receipt to the interviewer. Just trying to confirm if this is still a possibility.

Some rules regarding paying fees/making appointments have been changed on August 15th this year.

And I guess it's the same process as with turist visas.

You could pay for it at the day of the interview. And now you have to pay before you even call to make an appointment.
