Hi to everyone!

Im a K-1 Visa beneficiary, and my fiance serves in the military as a US Navy. Hope you guys can help me especially to all those who had just took their visa interview this year (US embassy - Manila, Phil).

:help: I got some questions regarding my upcoming interview this 3rd week of September, they are as follows: :help:

1. Do we need to glue/staple the picture on the D-156 form? or just left them blank? i remembered St.Lukes took our 2 other visa photos during our medical examination.

2. Do you think its ok for me to place our photos on a thin photoalbum (hard covered), to make it more organized, however can it pass through the window of the Filipino Consul Interviewer if in case they want to have it? its 4x7 inches in size.

3. Can i bring an extra bag inside the USEM, aside from the organizer i will be bringing?

What did you do? Please please advise me. Thanks in advance and Congratulations to all!!! :star:

1. I would leave the photos unglued and not stapled to the ds156 form, just make sure to write your name on the back of the photo.

2. You can put your photos in a small book. I am not sure of the window size but I have read here where others have put their photos in an album.

3. Yes you can carry in another bag into the embassy but remember there are certian items that are not allowed into the embassy such as food and electronics and the extra bag will mean extra time at the security check point before you enter the embassy.

I hope this helps. Good luck on your journey.

You can bring documents with you and some of our stuff, but i advice you not to bring any electronic device which include cellphone, laptop, and etc. Just incase you are still not aware of what the embassy allows applicants to bring inside...Goodluck!

1) No. put the 2X2 pics in a baggy and attach with your documents.

2) Whatever you plan to present to the embassy has to fit though a small opening in a window, if the album is easy to remove pictures from I see no issue, the embassy will want them removed and handed to them.

3) My wife brought the bag with all the documents and her purse, no issue. I brought nothing.

************ INTERVIEW DAY: Remember no electronics are allowed in the embassy; no cell phones, no cameras, no memory stiks. And no food. **************

paper then slid in a clear book to be organize as well, cuz the window got small opening.

I used a short size clear book or same size as the short folder.

I have used a clear book instead of album so it somehow bends.

maybe as long as the album is not that thick. it would fit.

Hello everyone I will take my interview on Wednesday in USEM Manila, after reading the post above I'm curious now if my scrapbook will fit into the window because the size of my scrapbook is like a short size bond paper but its thick and hard, thicker like 3 inches and i truly cant fold it. I want to know if it will be fine or not? Thank you!
