Hi VJ members..

I filed my AOS include with I765 on 08/09/2012 by mail to Chicago Lockbox. they received my I765 file on 08/13/12 and my AOS on 08/16/12 and no hardcopy of NOA 1 until now. I got my receipt numbers in email and keep checking my case status online everyday. On 08/31/12 my case status says if post office has sent back my mail from uscis as undeliverable. During this process i never move out from my current address, is that normal to have that notice or it was an error from them ?

Few days ago i called uscis to update my mail address and hoping they will send back my NOA 1 soon.

Today i check my case status online, and again i find wierd notice on my AOS and I765 which is says " Card/ Document Production

On September 5, 2012 we mailed the document to the address we have on file. You should receive the new document within 30 days. If you do not, or if you move before you get it, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

FYI i never have my biometric appointment and AOS interview.

Does anybody know what happening with my case file?

thanks in advance for your reply

Have you ever had biometrics done in the past? If so, then that would be a reason. Congrats on your EAD. Also, make sure that you are checking your case status and not someone else..

Hi thanks for ur reply.

I never have had biometric done in the past. so how about my AOS result, do you think that an error from USCiS?

I used receipt number that I got from my email, and always copy paste them everytime I check my case online so I guess I used mine.

That is impossible. Are you sure you are not looking at someone else's case? If you don't have your NOA1 yet, how can you know your case number?

Are you calling the I-485 your AOS? You filed I-130, I-485 and I-765 together?

Have you checked the status on your I-130?

Someone here not long ago got their EAD approved before biometrics. But I really don't think you got your I-485 approved without biometrics.

AOS

Hey,

i just read the situation from the Top.

And i must say that exactly the same thing happened to me.

I filed my I-485 about 2 months ago, i kept ckeckin my onine case status, it first said request for evidence. so i was waiting on a notification.

Today i checked again and i saw that they Produced the card? document. So i was wondering because i havent have a interview or my biometrics, i thought something could be wrong, so me n my Husband called at the customer Service n he told us that everything has been aprroved, they are goin to send my green card. Still cant believe it because it is soo fast. Hope the officer didnt give us any wrong informtation.

You could have possibly gotten wrong info. Your application can be approved without an interview but almost impossible for it to be approved without biometrics. Biometrics are done in order to run background checks. Stay on top of it cuz it's not possible. They'll make they corrections eventually

@Timon,

this is what i was thinkin, that they probably gave me a wrong information.

It would almost be too good to be true.

I will keep checking my Status, and im waiting whats goin to be in my mail.

But its almost a shame that they would give me wrong information about something like this.

Your application can be approved without an interview but almost impossible for it to be approved without biometrics.

It is impossible for any CONCURRENT I-130/I-485 case to be approved without an interview. Everyone in this forum will have an interview (unless they are posting in the wrong forum).
