See my response to Big Dog's post same applies.... there cannot be seprate rules one for him one for all other candidates.

He decided what to disclose and when to disclose same should be applicable for other candidates as well.

Dems still continue to pound Romney for his Tax returns...should they not leave that to IRS if there was any problems in his tax returns or not?

1) Unlike the birthers request for college transcripts, disclosure of tax returns is a long standing tradition for candidates for President. It has become part of the public vetting process that candidates have respected and subjected themselves to for decades. Here comes Mr. "Nothing says I love America like offshore bank accounts" Romney partially disclosing a single tax return (2010) that raises more questions than it answers. These questions will be asked until they are answered - not verbally but with documents. Romney certainly has every right not disclose any more documents but he must then endure the questions that remain unanswered. This issue isn't going away.

2) One of the questions that his available partial financial disclosure raises is whether he applied for and was granted amnesty for undeclared income from foreign accounts in 2009. If he was granted amnesty then he is okay with the IRS now but that would still mean that he is an amnestied felon. I believe that he ought to clear up this issue.

Like I've said numerous times - he could be hiding nothing. It's entirely possible that his tax returns would show us nothing. The fact that he is so adamantly refusing to show them is what's so bizarre. Why take something so seriously and go to such lengths to hide if there was nothing TO hide? Why not shut up your nay-sayers, show your tax returns, say "I told you so!" and move on?

True. Perhaps there is nothing to hide, but his refusal to comply with a request from his potential employers is rather odd...

Romney doesn't abide by "well if there was anything wrong, the IRS would deal with it!" ... not when it comes to the tax returns of others.

Or his own when he was vetted for the VP spot on McCain's ticket in 2008. He submitted over 20 years of tax returns to McCain. He demanded several years of tax returns from the all the candidates he vetted for the VP spot i=on his ticket. That makes absolutely no sense if he truly believes that a partial tax return of a single year is sufficient to vet a candidate for President. It isn't and he knows that. He believes that the vetting must go deeper. Only, he doesn't seem to believe that the American people deserve to vet him as a candidate.

And Obama is screwing middle class... rich is not going to be much impacted anyways.

Lower income ppl are going to get away as there is too much burden on them anyway... so who is left the middle class.

How is he screwing the middle class? What will Romney do for the middle class that is getting so 'screwed'?

Interestingly so, this is one point he has been clear from the onset. He believes the best way to help the middle class and the poor, is by making the rich richer.

you are right on #1 but until 2008 most candidate did not had much controversy about where they were born and how they had attains their US citizenship.

In 2008 that was change and existing vetting process was not enough.

on # 2 Romney might have applied for amnesty and might have even got amnesty but that does not make him a felon.

He was running business and like every business in US takes advantage of tax loopholes he might have taken too, so whats the big deal about it. Just like Clinton everyone was happy in his 8 yr term... he did few bad things and it was discounted as his personal issues - it did not mean he was bad at running the country.

There is no controversy about where he was born. He provided proof, TWICE, and there are a select group of people who refuse to believe reality. That's not controversy, it's delusion.

So basically, you have no answer to my question(s) ... you could have just said that.

Harsh, why have you avoided answering my question about why the disclosure of college transcripts is as relevant as the disclosure of tax returns? You seem happy to attempt to answer other people's questions.

He never answered media when they questioned him on his years in college nor he would provide any details hmmmm now who is delusional I don't know.

If he is so clean why is he refusing to disclose his Selective Service records or for the matter college records too.

The people believing he is faking birth certificates are the delusional ones. Just to clear that up for you.

What will his college records do for you? What is it about them that you're looking for that will determine his worth and ability as President? Answer Honey Crumpet's question. It shouldn't be hard.

Again, why are these relevant? What do you expect to find out from his college transcripts and what bearing do you think that would have on his ability to lead the country?
