You may not be a birther but you are sure doing a good job singing their song. Every person's school records are confidential. Everyone's. No President has ever been chased for their school records. Why this one? Because "he isn't one of us"? Why? That question has been asked multiple times here and not been answered. Why the different standard? Where are Mitt's school records? No, I don't want to see them. But why are the people that are asking for Obama's don't ask for Mitt's? Or Bush's? Or Clinton's? Or Reagan's? Or anyone's? Why Obama's? What makes him so special?

BTW, you are pushing the odd falsehood that Obama enrolled as a foreign exchange student. That's birtherism and you're pushing it. If you stand in their corner then you run the risk of being identified as one of them.

Well, maybe you missed the point. Tax records have traditionally been released by candidates for President. These are a vital part of the public vetting process that the electorate is afforded. It's been that way ever since Mitt's dad provided his tax returns - not a single year because as George Romney said: "Any politician who will not show multiple year taxes may be hiding something". Mitt himself acknowledges that truth by having asked all of the people on the short list for the VP spot on his ticket to provide multiple years of tax returns to him. He provided multiple years of tax returns to McCain when jockeying for the VP spot in 2008. So the principle is clear and acknowledged by Mitt Romney and yet, the public does not get to vet him.

School records have not been part of the vetting process. Mitt Romney knows that too. He hasn't made his school records public. Or his birth certificate, for that matter which he inappropriately demanded of President Obama even though it's been made public years ago. There is really only a fringe out there - the birthers - that bring up the President's school records. Presumably because they are the smoking gun regarding his eligibility for office. One of the many smoking guns that have found - all of which are duds. Duds that get dimwits excited but nobody else.

You say you're not a birther but you continue to sing their song. And then you say that I should know that you're not a birther. How could I know that? See, when someone shows up at my door trying to hand me a copy of the Watchtower, I know that I am looking at a Jehovah's Witness. When someone harps on about Obama's school records or the school records of some Barry Soetoro (whoever the ** that might be), I know I am looking at a birther. Simple as that.
