Hello all,

I would like to update my case, I contacted Senator's office in my town to follow up my case and only took them a day to get an update for me that my case was approved since Nov. 2012 but because I am doing a name change I have to wait till May for the next Oath ceremony in my town ( they said I should receive the notice 3 weeks prior the ceremony)

I will come back and update again when everything is all done.

Thank you all for your supports! Good Luck.

Oh my case status online is not update to "approved"

My case is so similar to yours.. The intervew was done on 12/12/12 ..they requested a copy of petition for divorce after that.. Sent them the copy few days later and still waiting for decision..

Which serivce center is your application at?.

I did contact the senator and the congressman couple weeks ago but still no answer from either one..i was told to wait 90 days after the interview and to contact the Customer service number again if i hear nothing within that period .. But i see from your case that it takes them around 90 days to make a decision

I sent my application to Philadelphia center. I have read a lot of treads and found that mostly they ask you to wait 90 days mine was way longer than 90 days.

How did you contact your Senetor , in person or phone? Did you sign a release form for them?

Good luck to you.

Contacted them by phone.. And thy instructed me to fax the signed release form with the details of my case which i did to both..

Two of my wife's friends married into not so good relationships, one I never met, owned a small hotel, and she ended up getting up early cleaning rooms and making beds. But did stick it out through US citizenship, she finally divorced him and went back to her family in Spain. The other one, really a beautiful very quiet pleasant woman, met her husband, he was really a jerk and treated her terrible, even in our presence. She also made it through US citizenship, but divorced him also and went back to her family in Mexico.

There was nothing here for either of those women here, couldn't find good jobs and far away from there families for support. Just wonder about your future, its a shame things work out this way. Our economic crunch sure didn't help.

We both have to work our cans off, only to be robbed blind by the tax assessor for services we are not even receiving. We worked our cans off so her daughter could go to college, Wasn't even this was 12 years ago, cost $15,000 more per year and can only deduct $4,000 of that for income taxes. This was once a great country, but really going to hell, food prices are going way up as energy costs, none of that is tax deductible.

Getting to the point of having me look for a better country to live in, feel the USCIS should be begging for people to come here, not be so damned arrogant. I laid out more than $20,000 to bring my wife and stepdaughter here, and beginning to wonder why. That was also after taxes.
