Hi guys,

Just been told by my USC fiancé that he got an email from the Bureau of Motor vehicles informing him that the INS ran a driver record check on him. Never heard anyone else mention this. Anyone else on here got experience of this? Just wondering what it means, although we're assuming it's just part of standard checks at initial review stage. Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can give

Wow...also have not heard anybody mention INS in quite sometime as that organization was abolished in 2003.....leading to the creation of the Department of Homeland Security.

Apologies for my error in giving them the wrong name, but thanks for being so kind to correct me

BEWARE! There is a lot of SPAM e-mails going out about driver's recrds, jail records, crminal history, etc..... He should call Homeland Security and ask.

Did the email ask for information from him? Confirm it really did say DHS. I'm confused about why he would be emailed instead of receiving physical mail. I believe it's a fake email.
