The Dream Act is not going through California or Vermont so it has no effect on the petitions there. The Syria Nationals emergency protected status and their work approvals did.

Quit calling this the "Dream Act"....this is NOT the Dream Act.

The Dream Act has NEVER passed into law (as of yet).

This is a temporary "Deferred Action" program for those who qualify.

Aside from politics, really, one who is willing to persevere through all the trials diligently and patiently deserves the reciprocation and trust as well. If it's meant to be for any of us, the love will stand the test of time(eternity). Sorry for your loss.

.....Or maybe she "walked away" in frustration over the waiting process

and has no intention of leaving her fiance.....so many pre-assumptions have been made here.

I have "walked away" from my boss many times.....but I am still working for him.
