You're honestly fooling yourself if you think a Romney presidency will fix the economy anytime soon.

I never said Romney was going to fix the things.

All I said was Obama is no different... ppl just love him and believe everything he says all I said was he bluffs like every other politicans, he is no different. The Change... Growth.... Transperancy.... cutting defecits all was bogus.

12,800 is the floor. That is the level needed to officially call it a recovery, without adjusting for inflation. We haven't reached growth yet. These are the lost years. When the DIJA is up another 25%, then we will just be catching up with historic growth.

25% over 12,800 would be 16,000, a mark it never reached. Still 16,000 would be an increase of 246% over the 6.500 mark where the DJIA was back in 2009... Currently, is has only doubled from 6,500 to 13,000...

But if this is all Obama's fault, shouldn't Romney be able to convince people he can fix it? Why hasn't he?

Wouldn't more decide to incorporate to benefit from a lower rate?

Depends how they write the law. However, any corporate tax would tax the money twice. Individuals still have to pay personal taxes despite what taxes a corporation pays. Businesses incorporate mainly to limit liability.

Yeah I suppose it also depends on the number of employees. More employees means personal tax rates would be lower etc. If you are a company of 1 or 2 its probably not going to help.

That's great - doubling the debt over 13 years surely is not as bad as tripling it over 8. Think we can all agree on that. The Gipper actually pulled off the latter. Now what?

I wasn't old enough to vote when the Gipper was in office. Perot was the first election I ever voted in '92. Then Clinton, then Bush, then Kerry and last McCain. That's about as bi-partisan as you can get. 2 R's, 2 D's and an I. This year I'm leaning towards Gary Johnson.

Aside from the various tax cuts either enacted or extended, there isn't a single Obama initiative or policy anyone can point to that will explain the huge deficits. Not one.

Anyway, according to the CBO, some Obama policies will have an effect on the future deficit. Just saying...

You will never be able to sell that notion to all those who believe the Bush policies had absolutely no impact on the current deficit, no matter how correct your statement.

Market has a long way to go just to catch up with historic trends.

That's true. Tax cuts will have an impact on the deficit. I stated as much. Are we against tax cuts now?

It would depend what spending cuts are made too, in parallel. I want a return to balanced budgets. If there's a tax decrease, I want to see an across the board cut to spending too. If there's a tax increase, I want to see it applied directly to the deficit.

To cut taxes just for the sake of being able to say to your constituents you cut taxes is absurd and reckless. Even though Bush 1 said he wouldn't do it, he did the right thing and raised taxes. Damn the constituents it was what was right for our country at that time. I admire him for that, at that particular time, he put the people and country first.
