Our friend JimBette from Nigeria asked me to post this forum for him. God bless this family!

I went for my interview answered all question correctly and i got A letter stating that our marriage is for Immigration purpose, that our files will be sent back to Home land Security, Please i need help i miss my wife so much, what are we to do now.

It has been 8-1/2 months now since I have seen or touched my wife. I love her and I am missing her. I don't know what to do next.

Given what you've posted, there isn't much input anyone can give.

It would make sense for your friend to join VJ and post the details of what was submitted, how long they've been married, etc.

He is a member of VJ and just had his interview yesterday. He was just not familiar enough with the site to post the forum and asked me to do it for him. I have forwarded him the link.

So now what?

USCIS will review the petition and re-submit?

They can appeal this decision....correct?

This is what I don't know...so I could not advise him on anything and suggested he post a forum so others could advise.

I have posted on his wall but we need to know so much.

1. Are there Red Flags, Age, religion, divorce, kids?

2. How many visits did your wife make?

3. For how long were the visits?

4. What evidence did you submit with petition?

5. What questions were asked?

6. How did you answer? your demeanor?

These questions will help because sometimes the case cam be held there at embassy which is a must for him. He may need to gather more evidence and get this taken care of right now. So he needs to move expediously.

When he was posting before going in yesterday on VJ, he seem very cool, collected and confident even when Winnie told him to line up and turn off his phone.

I don't believe he thought in a million years, this would be the outcome of his interview.

Did they ask you was your wife with you now? Or why she was not with you for interview?...or Possibly, why she only visited one time?

If they asked you this, how did you answer them?

They can appeal this decision....correct?

This sounds correct! Takes probably 180 days more of less and then they would need to appeal the decision....

Did your wife submit alot of evidence during the USCIS stage and did she alot send in more evidence to NVC?

From what you wrote you said they didn't ask for anything except the affidavit of support

Looking at this and how lagos is. Was her one visit to you her first and only time on Nigeria? Is she American. The short stay and one time and its been almost a year since you last saw each other is one Red flag well 2. Means you also married on your first visit and a short stay.

When I asked about evidence was asking what did she submit in her petition. Chats, emails, pictures what kind of pictures did you submit. What kind of evidence did you have upfront for the CO to review not what you brought to interview that they rarely ever ask to see.

You also mentioned your wifes son co-sponsored you. So you and your wife are the same age?

So sorry this is happening to you right now.The issue of how many time he/she has visited is not the major issue in this case cos not many can afford a frequent Trip to their loved ones.We have seen many issues that some had their loved ones outside the embassy and still got denied. Please Contact this immigration Expert AJEWOLE& CO on this numbers +23418209566,+2348035650401.In this case,Go with your refusal letter, your Marriage Certificate and other proofs you have in your possession to prove that your marriage with your wife is genuine and not for immigration purpose. It's time to stand for justice and give out information that will enhance our fellow VJ family for effective and efficient results. It will be nice to make a move while you have your petition there in Lagos cos if it is send back to USCIS it might might take time for a second interview to be schedule for you.Good luck

Thank you for your reply and the number where he can call. I'm sure this will be very helpful. By the way, how much is this Expert going to charge our friend for this consult?
