hello all,

first of all i apologize for not updating my timeline, I stopped logging in to visajourney, but i'm back.

here's a little story about my case; I'm a US Citizen, I Filed form I-130 in january 2012 for my husband who is and has been in Mexico since august 2011. My case is done at the USCIS, we got approval letter and now are case is at the NVC. I paid the AOS Fee and also sent in the AOS form, also paid IV fee. today I found out that I need to send them form DS-260 along with his passport, 2 photos, his and my birth certificate, and marriage certificate. I have an appointment with my attorney to send this documents to the NVC. I should be sending those out tomorrow, anyway my question is, what will come next after this? I heard that this is the last step before case closeS at the NVC and that after this he will have his interview at the embassy (Cuidad Juarez,Mex.)IS THIS CORRECT?

I APPRECIATE YOUR RESPONSE AND FOR TAKING YOUR TIME TO RESPOND. THANK YOU, YOU ARE ALL VERY HELPFUL

Yes that is correct. NVC will review your AOS package and accept for RFE it. Same with the IV Bill Package. Once Case is complete you wait in the interview queue for your country. And when you are assigned an interview than your case gets sent to embassy. You will receive one more "package" which is the interview letter and the instructions to go get your medical.
