To this day all from all the Obama supporter none has been able to answer, is the Obama care a Penalty or Tax?

You may be asking the wrong persons. Better than asking a supporter, ask the Supreme Court of the United States, whose job it was to rule on the Constitutionality of the Heath Care Reform Law.

Here is the link to the document they produced. It might help shed some light on the matter, else you can always oppose it without reading.

Yes Supreme court said its Tax... Obama administration is saying no its not a tax, its a penalty.

Supreme court clearly said only Taxes can be enforced not penalty.

That means Obama administration increased the tax on American People which is flip flop didn't he say no more new taxes in 2008?

The Supreme Court of the United States ruled it as a tax, therefore it is a tax, and it applies to those who choose not to have health insurance. No more freebies and freeloaders taking advantage of the current laws and leaving their medical bills for the rest of us to pay.

I would not say it is flip-flop policy because the Romney campaign has 'flip-flop' trade-market for their own campaign...

If it's truly a tax, it's certainly a voluntary tax. Every person is eligible to elect not to pay it. No flip flop there. If one ends up paying that tax, one has elected to pay it. Simple as that.

If it were a voluntary tax, there would be no fine for not participating.

A tax where I dont have choice if I want to pay or not.

Not a flip-flop but going back on his words of no more new tax.

You make a choice on whether or not to obtain health insurance. If you do obtain health insurance, you do not pay the tax. If you don't obtain health insurance, you are subject to the tax. The choice whether or not to pay that tax is entirely yours.

You do have a choice. You can choose not to participate and pay a premium so that the rest of us are not left to pay your health care bills.

That's right. Currently, I pay for the freeloaders. And I think I've done that long enough. Time for some personal responsibility.

Apparently that has become a dirty notion as of lately although I believe that opposition to the Health Care Reform is caused by not knowing what it is or entails - as some here have admitted - or simply as a manifestation of partisan politics.

Another posted here indicated opposition to the Health Care Reform Act without knowing what all was in it.

I know, I've been reading. I still find it funny though that our elected officials actually vote in favor of or against something that they haven't actually read themselves. Then admit they haven't read it and still manage to get re-elected.
